Make a 35 × 45 mm passport photo sheet on A4
Prepare a 35 × 45 mm portrait, arrange multiple copies on A4, and download a PDF or JPEG for printing. No image editor required.
How to make your photo sheet
- Choose a clear, recent portrait from your device.
- Position and crop the photo in the editor; review the framing yourself.
- Download the A4 PDF or JPEG and print at 100% / Actual size.
Check the instructions for your specific passport application before printing. Requirements can vary by application and authority.

Choose the right download and print settings
- Single-photo JPEG: one cropped image at 300 DPI. A print JPEG does not automatically meet an online portal's pixel dimensions or file-size limits.
- A4 PDF: a sheet containing multiple copies, ready to save or hand to a print service.
- A4 JPEG: the same arranged sheet as an image, not an individual photo.
The default 35 × 45 mm photos, 5 mm page margin and 3 mm gaps fit 30 copies: 5 columns × 6 rows. Custom dimensions, margins and gaps change the count.
Print on A4 at Actual size / 100%, with Fit to page and automatic shrinking turned off. Measure a sample with a ruler before printing a batch: the printer or service can override your settings.
The tool works with common phone-image formats and local HEIC/HEIF conversion; AVIF depends on the browser. Editing and downloads are free, with no account or watermark. Contributions are optional.
Read the photo sizing and A4 printing section of the original build article for the full guide.
Your photo stays in your browser
Photo editing and export happen locally in your browser. The app's server does not receive your portrait or exported PDF. Drafts may be saved in browser storage on your device; clear saved photos before sharing a device.
A preparation tool, not an official validator
The tool helps crop a portrait and prepare a print layout. It cannot confirm that a photo meets every official requirement or will be accepted. Follow the latest Passport Seva guidance for your application.
